Passionate and experienced Buying Manager

 

Role Description
As a Buying Manager, you will develop and manage a sustainable product portfolio, in close cooperation with suppliers, customers and our innovation department. You will establish and manage a sustainable supply chain and supplier portfolio by building long-term partnerships, improving sourcing conditions and implementing multiple sources to find economies of scale. You will develop a global product group strategy aligned with all NNZ entities and support the local purchasing teams with tactical and strategic purchasing support, by working closely (cross-border and cross-functional) with your colleagues.

The Central Sourcing Department consists of 4 product categories: Film, Trays, Netbags/Netting, and FIBCs/PP-Bags, divided into two areas: Consumer Packaging and Industrial & (Agro) Transport Packaging. Your focus will be within the product category of Netbags/Netting.
Possibility to travel frequently and extensively is required. You will report directly to the Head of Central Sourcing.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proven commercial purchase experience
  • Experience in product/ category management positions
  • Experience in working for an international organisation
  • Ability to work in a fast-changing environment / stress-resistant
  • Preferable with experience in packaging industry
  • Fluent in Dutch and in English, German preferable
